| The villa was built by Andrea Palladio between 1550 and 1560 for Daniele and Marcantonio Barbaro, transforming the old medieval palace. Two great Renaissance artists, such as Alessandro Vittorio, took part in the staging and the painter Paolo Veronese for the stuccoes and paintings. |
Villa Barbaro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which remained at the center of its flourishing agricultural estate, from whose historic cellar wines of great value come out. A short walk through the vineyards leads to the collection of carriages where thirty specimens of the means of transport of the past centuries are collected. |
